A father’s presence is not merely a relationship; he is the guardian of one’s confidence, courage, support system, and sense of self-worth. When a father passes away, it is not just a single person who is lost; multiple facets of life die along with him. People say that time heals every wound, but in this instance, that is an absolute lie. This wound does not heal; one simply grows resilient while carrying the weight of it. Once the protective shadow of a father is gone, a person no longer relies on anyone else in this world for support. No matter how much he laughs, there remains a space deep within him that is forever empty and silent. He appears strong in everything he does, for he no longer allows himself the luxury of weakness. The absence of a father is like the extinguishing of light from one's life; while the daylight remains, the heart forever dwells in the melancholy of twilight. Once the protective shadow of a father is lost, a child ceases to be a child; time forcibly compels him to grow up, regardless of his actual age.
