Love and emotions
are not the same,
yet neither can truly
survive without the other.
Love is the fire
that ignites within the heart,
but emotions are the wind
that keeps it burning.
Love does not ask for claims;
it only asks for proof.
And emotions are that very proof…
Time, attention, sacrifice, patience,
and that silence
in which you may even be angry with someone,
yet cannot even imagine
letting them go.
Love without emotions
becomes nothing more than words.
It is those who have
no real depth of emotion within them
who turn love into a game.
For them, a relationship matters
only as long as
benefit, interest,
or need remains.
