The Pakistani Military Attaché met with the Libyan GNA Minister of Defence, Salah al-Din al-Nimroush.

Both dignitaries discussed mechanisms for enhancing military cooperation between the militaries of the two countries. The #Pakistan and #Libya governments agreed on enhancing cooperation in the military field. The #Pakistan Army will train Government of National Accord forces on combating terrorism and organized crime, mine clearance and explosive materials disposal.

This is interesting because in #Libya‘s ongoing Civil War, there are two factions: GNA supported by countries like the #US, #UK, #Italy, #Iran, #Qatar and apparently now #Pakistan; and the Tobruk-based LNA which is supported by countries like the #UAE, #SaudiArabia, #Israel and #France.
